2) Number of health and skin care professionals (physicians, respiratory therapists, nurses, chiropractors, dentists, psychologists, salon owners, fitness trainers, dermatologists) who become distributors themselves.

3) Incredibly strong financials--"their financial statements are things of beauty" said the Motley Fool in one of their paid subscription newsletters. Named one of the "Top 100 Hot Growth Companies" for 2004 by Business Week (USANA was #9 out of 100).

4) Publicly traded company, therefore, scrutinized by the Securities & Exchange Commission in the U.S. and financial information is readily available).

5) Founder of Usana, Myron Wentz, Ph.D. is a respected, accomplished biochemist and immunologist with a clear vision for the company focused on improved the health and financial well being of customers, Associates, and children in need (through the Children's Hunger Fund).

What three (3) changes would you recommend to the management of your company to make it an even better opportunity?

1) Improve the "persuasive architecture" of the Usana web sites--They have been improved lately but the shopping cart still does not make it easy for first-time customers to order.

2) Provide telephone sales and support on the weekend.

3) Open for business in more countries (although I admit I don't know much about all the regulatory hurdles one must overcome before receiving permission to market in a new country).

What kind of training and support do you, your upline, or your company provide?


A total of seven (7) training calls each week; one with Diamond Director upline; three with our larger Group leader, a Ruby Director; and two with my team (Dr. Mark Worthen)

Personal Information

I am a divorced father of three fantastic kids ages 4, 8, and 10. I work as a clinical & forensic psychologist at a community mental health clinic and in private practice. My Usana business is part-time although I could see taking it full-time in the future since the income potential is so much better.
